
The Leitrim Sculpture Centre is a national resource for advancing the creative practice and knowledge of visual art making and its collaborative engagement with the ecologies of landscape, place and the rural.
It is located in Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim. The Centre offers a diverse range of technical resources and supports for the creative advancement of the artist. It functions as a testing-ground for new work and fosters experimentation across a wide range of material processes in the development of creativity, innovation and learning. Artists can develop their creativity through experimentation and the support of friendly technicians, tutors, and staff.
The Centre also offers residency programs where artists can reside and research alongside other artists in their dynamic workspaces, studios and gallery.
The Centre is built around the key processes used across traditional and contemporary visual arts and offers a diverse range of technical resources and supports for the creative advancement of the artist. These include studios, technical facilities & gallery technical support, accommodation, residencies etc. Artists can apply for or design their own residency project at the centre.
Situated in the North West of Ireland within a rich and diverse rural landscape, it provides one of the most comprehensive visual arts resources in Ireland. It is proud to be funded by the Arts Council.
